This Privacy Policy explains how Audition Hub, LLC ("Audition Hub," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you access or use our website located at https://auditionhub.app and any related services, applications, software, or features we operate (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Services. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or platforms that may be linked to or integrated with the Services.

Some features may display additional privacy terms. If there is a conflict, those additional terms will control for that feature.

2. Age Requirements and Use by Minors

Audition Hub is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

The Services may be used by individuals under the age of 18 only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a minor to use the Services or to appear in a recording, the parent or legal guardian represents and agrees that they have reviewed this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and storage of the minor's information as described here.

Audition Hub has no actual knowledge of the age of individuals appearing in recordings unless such information is affirmatively provided to us. We do not verify the age or identity of individuals depicted in user recordings.

If we become aware that personal information of a child under 13 has been collected without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Name or display name
  • Email address
  • Password and authentication credentials
  • Subscription status and plan details
  • Optional profile information such as an avatar or headshot

We do not require a mailing address. Billing address information is collected and processed only by our payment processor.

3.2 Billing and Payment Information

All payments are processed through Stripe. Audition Hub does not store full credit card numbers or sensitive payment card data.

We receive limited billing information such as payment confirmation, subscription status, renewal dates, and transaction identifiers.

3.3 Audio and Video Recordings

The Services allow users to create, upload, store, download, and privately share audio and video recordings, including rehearsals and self-taped auditions.

Recordings:

  • Are private by default
  • Are accessible only to the user unless the user generates a sharing link
  • May include adults or minors

Audition Hub does not verify consent, age, or identity of individuals appearing in recordings. Users are responsible for ensuring they have all required permissions and consents.

3.4 AI-Generated Content

Audition Hub uses artificial-intelligence services, including ElevenLabs, to generate audition dialogue or other rehearsal content that is separate from user recordings.

User audio and video recordings are not shared with AI vendors and are not used to train third-party models.

In limited circumstances, authorized Audition Hub personnel may review recordings internally for the sole purpose of improving platform functionality or AI behavior. Such access is restricted, non-public, and purpose-limited.

3.5 Device and Usage Information

We automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Browser type, device identifiers, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, session duration, and interaction data
  • Error logs and performance metrics

3.6 Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Authenticate users and maintain sessions
  • Store preferences
  • Measure traffic and usage
  • Improve performance and reliability
  • Support advertising where enabled

We use third-party analytics and monitoring tools such as PostHog, Google Analytics, Sentry, and Meta Pixel. These tools collect usage and diagnostic data but do not access or analyze user recordings.

You may disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not function properly.

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Process subscriptions and payments
  • Store and deliver user content
  • Enable recording, playback, downloads, and sharing features
  • Send transactional emails related to account activity
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve the Services and system reliability
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information.

5. Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Recordings and user content are stored securely while associated with an active project.

Users may delete projects at any time. When a project is deleted, all associated recordings are permanently deleted from our active systems. Limited encrypted backup copies may persist temporarily for operational or security purposes and are overwritten on a rolling basis.

Once deleted, recordings cannot be recovered.

6. User Control Over Downloads and Sharing

Users control whether recordings may be downloaded or shared.

Private sharing links are generated only at the user's request. Anyone with access to a sharing link may be able to view or download the recording, depending on the user's settings.

Users are responsible for managing access, distributing links, and revoking access when appropriate.

7. How We Share Information

We may share information:

  • With service providers supporting hosting, storage, billing, analytics, email delivery, and security
  • When required by law, legal process, or government request
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale
  • With your consent or at your direction

All service providers are contractually required to use information only as necessary to perform services for Audition Hub.

8. No Proactive Monitoring

Audition Hub does not proactively monitor, review, or moderate user recordings or content. Our team is small and relies on user reports and lawful requests to identify content that may violate applicable law or our policies.

9. Reporting Abuse or Illegal Content

If you believe that any content hosted on Audition Hub involves abuse, exploitation, illegal activity, or otherwise violates applicable law, you may report it by contacting:

Please include sufficient information to allow us to locate the content, such as a project name or sharing link. We review reports promptly and take appropriate action, including content removal or account termination when required by law.

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including:

  • TLS encryption for data in transit
  • Encrypted storage
  • Restricted internal access
  • Ongoing security monitoring

No system is completely secure. You acknowledge that transmitting information over the internet involves some risk.

11. U.S.-Only Services

The Services are intended for users located in the United States. All data is processed and stored in the United States, and U.S. law governs our data practices.

12. Third-Party Links

The Services may include links to third-party websites or embedded content. Audition Hub is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third parties.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
